Happy National Coffee Day 2015

Coffee.  It's warm, it's cold, it's smooth, it's blended, it's intense, it's bold, it's blond, it's brewed, it's pressed.  Coffee is more than a drink, it's a best friend.  It's there for you when everyone else is a punk.  It's there for you when you're happy, and when you're sad.

Coffee.

Happy National Coffee Day.

I had a Venti Iced Caramel Macchiato + add shot and a Tall Flat White, both from Starbucks.

We started our day pretty early driving up to Los Angeles for an audition, so we needed a big jolt!

How many cups did you have?

Scotts® EveryDrop™ Water Saver Lawn Care

**This is a sponsored post about Scotts® EveryDrop™ Water Saver.  Living during a time of water shortage and drought, it is critical to find a way to absorb and preserve every drop.  All opinions are my own.**

Scotts® EveryDrop™ Water Saver Lawn Care by BeckyCharms

The world is in a critical moment of water shortage, and California has been deemed in a serious drought.  I mean, there's even an app to tattle on your fellow water-wasters.  In order to combat those super strict rules of watering once every Haley's comet sighting, or dinosaur resurrection, ScottsMiracle-Gro® has developed an amazing product which will save us up to 25% of our water usage.  That means a lower bill, and a greener lawn.  We might even have enough water to make some lemonade to enjoy while lounging near our fresh, green yard while the kids play and the charcoal crackles on the BBQ.

Professionals have been using wetting agents to better distribute water in our yards for years, and now ScottsMiracle-Gro® is making it available to home-owners; every day people like you and me.  They want us to know that we have options.  What makes this one unique is a blend of two wetting agents which help distribute water for your lawn and garden needs.  Even if you have replaced part of your grass, Scotts® EveryDrop™ Water Saver also works with any and all rain we receive.  In fact, the EveryDrop™ is activated when it comes in contact with water.

I get discouraged when I'm not allowed to water my lawn as I please, since it's my water bill for which I'm paying.  But, to do my part in conserving water, I follow along.  {I wouldn't want the water police turning me in!  I have kids, for goodness' sake!}  My lawn still gets brown spots, and I don't know what to do.  I feel hopeless and helpless.  Do you know what I mean?  This is why we need Scotts® EveryDrop™ Water Saver Lawn Care.  It will continue to water our plants and flowers during those "no water" days, thus saving the money we've invested into our landscaping.

Think about it.  When you're thirsty, so are your plants.  I never like to see anything die, and I've killed plenty of plants all on my own.  I'm tired of taking dead flowers and patches of sod back to the store.  I wish I would've had Scotts® EveryDrop™ Water Saver Lawn Care years ago.  But, the great news is that we have it now, and it works for every type of soil!

If you're worried or concerned about your fruit and veggies, don't be.  Scotts® EveryDrop™ Water Saver Lawn Care is safe.  Just be sure to rinse your fruit and vegetables before consuming.  It's that simple!

Worst Online Student Ever

I signed up for two online classes.  {pause for applause}  Thank you, thank you.  I appreciate the encouragement.  Unfortunately, I have not done any of the assigned reading.  I'm wondering if these classes have too much freedom, and then too strict of deadlines.  That's incredibly passive agressive.  I'm sure it's the professors' faults.  It's gotta be.  Yeah, it is.  I'm borderline Millenial, so it's impossible to be my problem.  I'm techie.  I'm saavy in all the right ways.  I know how to press the right buttons.

Just not the "send" one on time.

{I hope you enjoyed this humorous short story.}

Becky
